About this practice session

5. 0:10 so today I'm going to talk about clothes
6. 0:13 and fashion this is a topic that I don't
7. 0:16 really like that much but it's an
8. 0:18 important one everybody wears clothes
9. 0:21 and everybody has some kind of fashion
10. 0:24 or lack of fashion I might be one of
11. 0:26 those people that lacks fashion but
12. 0:29 we'll get into that in a minute
13. 0:30 first let's talk about when we first
14. 0:33 develop our own fashion sense and take
15. 0:35 it seriously for me this was around the
16. 0:39 time when I was in middle school middle
17. 0:41 school is when I started paying
18. 0:43 attention to what kind of clothes I was
19. 0:45 wearing what brands what styles and what
20. 0:49 colors one of the first phases that I
21. 0:52 went through was the one where I wore
22. 0:54 really baggy clothes baggy clothes are
23. 0:57 clothes that are too big for you and
24. 0:59 they come down lower than normal clothes
25. 1:02 my shirts were too long and my pants
26. 1:05 weren't pulled up high enough it wasn't
27. 1:07 a good phase for me I'm sure many of you
28. 1:10 can remember going through something
29. 1:12 like this when you were young if we look
30. 1:14 back at our middle school pictures some
31. 1:17 of us would be horrified so once I got
32. 1:20 into high school my style changed
33. 1:22 because I started playing more
34. 1:24 basketball
35. 1:24 thus I started buying all kinds of Air
36. 1:27 Jordans Nikes and other brands of
37. 1:30 basketball shoes I used to match the
38. 1:32 color of my shoes with the color of my
39. 1:34 shirts
40. 1:35 I was super color-coordinated then after
41. 1:38 that I ditched the basketball phase and
42. 1:41 I started wearing more casual clothes
43. 1:43 and then finally by the time I started
44. 1:46 college I'd stopped caring so much about
45. 1:49 what clothes I wore nowadays I'm the
46. 1:52 least stylish person you'll meet I wear
47. 1:55 what's comfortable and I don't have many
48. 1:57 clothes so now let's talk about some of
49. 1:59 the popular clothing stores that are out
50. 2:01 there back when I was 17 I got my first
51. 2:05 job at a clothing store called Hollister
52. 2:07 some of you might know this store
53. 2:09 actually it was really popular back in
54. 2:12 my high school days but I don't know how
55. 2:14 popular it is now now when I go shopping
56. 2:17 I either go to stores like H&M or I go
57. 2:21 to department stores like JCPenney
58. 2:23 department stores are really big stores
59. 2:26 that sell all kinds of clothes jewelry
60. 2:29 electronics and other things from many
61. 2:32 different brands
62. 2:33 I like these stores because they have a
63. 2:35 huge selection of clothes some of the
64. 2:38 most popular athletic clothing stores in
65. 2:40 the US include Nike footlocker and
66. 2:43 Dick's Sporting Goods for woman
67. 2:46 forever21 sada and Abercrombie & Fitch
68. 2:50 are some of the popular stores do you
69. 2:52 have these stores in your country in the
70. 2:55 u.s. most popular clothing stores are
71. 2:58 found in shopping malls here we just
72. 3:00 call them malls you can find malls
73. 3:03 everywhere in the u.s. I think most of
74. 3:06 them are indoor malls but there are
75. 3:08 plenty of outdoor malls too I'm not a
76. 3:10 big fan of malls but there are
77. 3:12 definitely times when I need to go there
78. 3:14 to buy something and during the
79. 3:17 Christmas season I have to spend much
80. 3:19 more time at the mall buying presents
81. 3:21 for everyone ok that's all for today
