  5. so today I'm going to talk about the
  6. weather this is an important topic
  7. because everybody talks about the
  8. weather if you are learning English you
  9. need to know how to talk about the
  10. weather so let's start with sunny
  11. weather sunny weather is my favorite
  12. type of weather when it's sunny outside
  13. I'm happy for me hot weather is better
  14. than cold weather some people don't like
  15. the heat but I don't mind the heat it
  16. can be uncomfortable but for me that's
  17. okay
  18. some places are too hot though for
  19. example the city of Las Vegas is really
  20. hot in the summer I like hot weather but
  21. not that hot in really hot cities you
  22. need to stay inside during the afternoon
  23. in the u.s. most buildings in hot cities
  24. have air-conditioning ok now let's talk
  25. about cloudy days I hate cloudy days
  26. when the Sun is not shining I feel a
  27. little sad because I love sunny days but
  28. cloudy days are normal every city has
  29. cloudy days some cities are always
  30. cloudy like London I can't live in a
  31. cloudy city
  32. I need sunshine do you like sunny or
  33. cloudy days more okay now let's talk
  34. about rainy days for me rainy days are
  35. the worst I love being outside so this
  36. is why I don't like the rain when it
  37. rains I can't do anything outside I have
  38. to stay indoors all day some people
  39. really like the rain my wife likes the
  40. rain but only when she's inside she says
  41. that the sound of the rain is calming I
  42. don't agree
  43. I don't like the sound of the rain it
  44. reminds me that I can't go outside of
  45. course you can go outside when it's
  46. raining but you need to take an umbrella
  47. if you don't have an umbrella you get
  48. wet sometimes it starts raining when I'm
  49. not home and I don't have an umbrella
  50. with me this is the worst I don't like
  51. getting wet also when it rains it can be
  52. dangerous to drive many people have car
  53. accidents when it rains when the streets
  54. are wet you need to drive slower if you
  55. don't you can have an accident
  56. on rainy days there are a lot of car
  57. accidents I don't like driving in the
  58. rain all right now let's talk about
  59. windy days some cities have a lot of
  60. wind and this can be good or bad if you
  61. live in a hot city the wind can be good
  62. because it cools the city down but if
  63. you live in a cold city the wind can be
  64. bad because it makes it even colder if
  65. the wind is really strong it can cause
  66. problems sometimes trees fall down
  67. because of the strong wind usually I
  68. prefer days that aren't windy okay
  69. lastly let's talk about the snow it
  70. doesn't snow in my city so I don't see
  71. the snow often some years my family goes
  72. to the mountains in the winter to ski
  73. and snowboard I like the snow but I
  74. don't want to live in a snowy city it's
  75. too cold and life is more difficult in
  76. the snow I have some students that live
  77. in really cold cities during the winter
  78. the temperature can be minus 20 or minus
  79. 30 degrees Celsius for me that's crazy
  80. I don't like the cold another bad type
  81. of weather is stormy weather in the u.s.
  82. we have some bad
  83. storms like hurricanes and tornadoes
  84. I've never seen a storm like this before
  85. but I've seen many thunderstorms
  86. these storms are not that bad but I
  87. don't like lightning lightning can be
  88. scary okay that's all for today leave a
